Java team lead - Real time systemsWe are working exclusively with a company based in finance and retail to bring on a new Java Team Lead. The company was founded 10 years ago and has continued to grow exponentially ever since. They are now looking for an experienced with Java team lead with experience microservices architecture as well as demonstrable exposure to technologies such as Docker and cloud-based technologies such as AWS. Since their launch, the company has made a massive impact in the market processing over 2 billion pounds worth of applications in that period.This position is for a Java team lead who will be predominately hands on using Java on the backend as well as writing and consuming restful APIs on a platform that has processed over 900,000 applications in the past 12 months. Along with being heavily hands on, this role will see the individual leaving and growing a team with the goal of achieving the highest quality of work as efficiently as possible. You will be expected to help grow and upskill engineers within your team with regular one on one meetings as well as building applications with a massive focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.Must Have Skills:
