Job Description

Java developer London£70K Trust in Soda are looking to attract a Java Developer for leading for a Global Tech Consulting firm based in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and driven technical team and amazing digital products for some of the worlds biggest brands. Requirements

  • Proven commercial experience in Java and functional programming.
  • Solid understanding of Spring/Spring Boot frameworks
  • Experience working within microservices architecture
  • Experience with containerisation and cloud deployment, ideally also with Kubernetes.
  • Solid demonstrable experience of building backend APIs and services
  • Solid understanding of AWS
  • A Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Good communications, listening skills and a growth mindset.
  • A team player who delivers software as part of a collaborative team.
    • Job Responsibilities:
  • Writing clean code and participating in the design of our next generation of applications
  • Work as part of a successful cross functional team working across the whole Development Lifecycle from inception to delivery, supporting business critical applications
  • Delivering high-quality work and acting as the gatekeeper for quality on your project, coaching your teammates to maintain a high quality in their own work
  • Develop tools, applications and libraries by producing clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
  • Assist in the design of innovative solutions to solve complex problems.
  • Helping drive project planning sessions and shaping the product roadmap
  • Communicating with senior client stakeholders and third parties where necessary
