Job Description

Java Developer - FX TradingA disruptive FX company based in Liverpool Street is seeking a Java Developer to aid in their goal of constructing a highly available trading platform that processes over 5 billion messages daily, by connecting major banks.You, as the Java Developer, will be a great fit if you have:

  • Mid-level commercial software development experience with Java
  • Experience in multithreading, low-latency, concurrency
  • A willingness to use the right tools for the right job and sometimes work with Rust, Golang, and Kotlin
  • An advocate for modern methodologies such as TDD and CI/CD
Day-to-day, the core tech stack includes: Core Java, multithreading, low-latency, concurrency, distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, TDD, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.This position would be perfect for a Java Developer who has a strong interest in the financial industry and is excited to work in a fast-paced environment. The team prioritises the use of the appropriate tool for each task, and as a result, the candidatewould have the opportunity to work with more modern technologies in a strong DevOps environment.
