Their technology allows asset managers to integrate services into their existing platform stack using APIs or they offer a white label web platform which gives full end-to-end capability. Due to demand for their technology they are now expanding their team, even in this current economic climate.Their platform is based on a micro-service based server-side environment written in Java deployed in AWS using Docker, Logstash, ElasticSearch and use modern DevOps tools like Terraform. Development is done in a highly agile manner with a focus on building very high quality code that lasts the test of time. The applications are deployed using Continuous Delivery (they deploy code to production multiple times per day) and their goal is to verify the software using 100% automated testing. The team love following best practices like TDD, BDD and SOLID to achieve this.Essential requirements:• 1 year+ commercial Java experience• Familiar with a favourite IDE (e.g. IntelliJ, Eclipse, VSCode)• Experience writing tests, ideally using best practices like TDD, DDD, BDD or SOLID• Experience working with microservices• Willingness to take part in pair and mob programming• Passion for learning and self improvement
