Job Description

Java DeveloperSalary - up to £90k + 25% bonusHybrid Working We are working exclusively with a global trading vendor who are looking for a Java Developer to build out their trading platform that consumes 5 billion messages per day.The Java Developer will get the opportunity to develop on highly scalable and low latency software that is crucial to their trading system that is used by investment banks, hedge funds and asset managers across the world.We are offering the Java Developer:

  • contributions to multiple areas of the business including core trading services, real-time price feeds, cloud-based microservices and big data handling
  • the opportunity to work on globally distributed systems and highly available trading software
  • a cross-functional working environment - working closely with Product, QA, UX/UI and Frontend/Mobile Engineers
As the Java Developer, youll pair program daily and practice clean code utilising TDD and CI/CD.Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms will be advantageous as the Senior Java Developer will be dealing with real-time financial technical problems and concepts.The company are based in central London and are now in their 8th year and have over 80 employees now.
