Job Description

The Java Application Developer is responsible for design, development, implementation, maintenance, support and documentation of Java-based services and Applications.This is a fully remote role with quarterly office visits in London. All applicants must have full right to work in the UK.Skills/ Knowledge Essential

  • Java SE/Java EE
  • Spring Framework, including RESTful services, and Hibernate
  • JavaScript Frameworks (preferably AngularJS)
  • A variety of databases (e.g. Oracle or PostgreSQL)
  • Git, Maven, and Continuous Integration with Jenkins
  • TDD/BDD and Continuous Delivery principles
Desirable
  • UX and UI design patterns.
  • Apache Camel, Apache Kafka
  • Managing tickets using Atlassian JIRA,
  • Documentation using Atlassian Confluence
