Job Description

IT Systems Admin / Infrastructure EngineerA shipping management services company is looking to hire a talented and hard-working IT Systems Administrator. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the infrastructure head. In this role, you will be part of the infrastructure team andbe responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure of the company globally, including troubleshooting, maintenance, patching, configuration, monitoring and further infrastructure projects. This role is permanent and is full-time in the office.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting and maintaining all the European offices
  • Working alongside the IT infrastructure team on an ad hoc basis.
  • Responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure of the wider company
  • You will be required to deal with all aspects of support from 1st to 3rd (2nd and 3rd will be the majority of your daily issues)
Key Skills and Requirements:
  • You must have previous experience working in a similar role
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 / 2016
  • Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online
  • Group Policy
  • Networking (Palo Alto/Cisco/VPN/VLAN)
  • VMware ESXi & vCenter Server
  • SAN/NAS Storage maintenance
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially as this is a client-facing role, working in the same office as some of those you are supporting.
  • Able to prioritise tasks to ensure they are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Good attention to detail
