Job Description

IT Support Team Leader required to work with a Government department. This is an initial 7 month contract, paying £540 per day, inside IR35, remote/hybridActive SC Clearance is required for this assignment. The Support Team provide effective support and maintenance to all end users. As an IT Support Team Leader, you will have People Management responsibilities and will provide support and technical development of the Support Engineers and associate engineers aswell as other members of their team.As an IT Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for:*Proactively leading a team of Support engineers.*Contacting and liaising with the end users when necessary and providing excellent customer service. *Working in partnership with other IT areas to fix technical problems including liaising and escalating to 3rd line support, whilst always ensuring excellent partnership working. *Provide guidance on suitable technical workarounds that enables users to operate whilst a permanent resolution is being provisioned. *Contributing to the "set up" and continued improvement of the Support Team. *Ensure the delivery of programme/project and transition work. *Document and update IT support and knowledge management materials. *Having an appreciation of the needs of Assistive Technology for users who need this. *Meeting your performance and quality objectives to ensure that the success of the overall team key performance indicators, targets and quality controls measures are met.*Contributing towards the maintenance of Knowledge Base Articles. Technical Experience Required *Operating Systems: Win10 operating system, IOS, Android and Mac *Networking and Infrastructure including DNS and DHCP, WIFI, InTune, Azure and Azure Active Directory, Citrix, SCCM *End user Devices and Peripherals including Laptops, Smart devices (Tablets, Phones etc), Mice, Keyboards, Monitors, Printers and Scanners *End User Support: Windows 365 applications, including: Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Core products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Bitlocker Please apply should you meet the above criteriaBadenoch + Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
