Job Description

About the opportunity:We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a leading developer and publisher of digital premium board games, with notable successes including well known, and loved brand names. They are passionate about what they do and have seen tremendoussuccess creating high quality games loved by people all over the world.We are presenting a brand-new role for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join the team and growing business. Acting as the first point of contact for all IT support queries from your internal stakeholders, you will support approximately 80 end usersacross the London, Bath and Lisbon studios, you will adopt a "fix first time" approach, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.As the successful IT Support Engineer, you will have ample opportunity in this standalone role to make your mark and really make this position your own. You will learn and develop your knowledge, experience, and skills to the next level.Alongside your day-to-day tasks you will also work on some interesting and exciting projectsThis is a rare opportunity to join a fun, growing company where everyones effort has a big impact.   • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware or software issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time
  • Working knowledge of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, MacOS and Active Directory
  • Good knowledge of Google Gsuite, Office 365, Dropbox and VoIP systems
Desirable
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with Perforce
  • LAN and Wifi experience
  • Working knowledge of virtual machines
  • Experience with monitoring solutions
  • Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • IT related certification (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
  • Knowledge of simple website maintenance
