Job Description

A leading financial services company is looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join their technology team in London.This is a critical role responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of a portfolio of complex, business-critical IT projects. You will oversee project managers and teams to deliver projects on time and to budget.The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience managing large portfolios or programs in financial services or for an IT services provider.
  • Experience across multiple business divisions is essential.
  • Extensive experience working with third party technology partners and managing vendor relationships.
  • Knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies with experience directing turnkey systems integrators.
  • Expertise in infrastructure and security projects to address obsolescence.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels including C-suite.
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver able to navigate organizational complexity.
  • Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
