You will oversee our Linux platform and deliver on projects, to help improve Metro Bank’s digital capabilities. But to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to do most of these wonderful things…• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders• You need to have experience as an IT Operations Engineer, with a focus on digital technologies such as JBoss or Tomcat• To be amazing in this role, we need you to have excellent knowledge around troubleshooting applications, and be able to Bash script• In order to excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of cloud technologies• We would love for you to be able to showcase an analytical approach to problem solving• It would be wonderful if you have experience working within the financial services sector but this is not essentialDiverse teams really are the best teams.
