Job Description

Join a large retail group and take on responsibility for developing and implementing and organisation wide Information Security strategy.Take ownership of the cyber security objectives enabling you to significantly reduce the chance of successful cyber security attacksClient DetailsGlobal retail group based in South West LondonDescriptionIT Manager - Head of IT Security

  • Develop and implement both long and short-term security strategy in line with business goals
  • Support the organisation in developing the security posture for a rapidly growing workforce
  • Act as the SME for all security related issues
  • Interact with key stakeholders driving a security culture across the organisation. Getting involved with training and development of staff
  • Maintain security policies, standards and frameworks in line with a mix of security frameworks including ISO27001, GDPR, SOX and PCI DSS
  • Develop and drive risk analysis, mitigation and remediation plans

  • Experience of information security, driving strategy and mitigating risk
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing security controls using security frameworks (ISO27001)
  • Leadership experience within a security function with the ability to influence senior stakeholders within the business
  • You will have an eye for detail and be adept at dealing with contracts and security policies
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strategic thinking, ability to clearly articulate a vision for the function
