It works in close co-operation with the firm’sexternal audit teams in undertaking general IT controls support work.This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an IT Audit/Controls professional to move into a broader quality transformation role, sitting within the audit quality team to drive change within the audit practice, focusing on:·Improving quality – this will involve working with the broader audit technical leadership team in strengthening the existing audit methodology, compliance with ISA’s etc.·Embedding controls audit approach – designing approach to how controls are embedded in the external audit of clients.·Enhancing the audit management system – design and developing existing Crystal system i.e., embedding methodology, driving automation.It is likely that you will be currently working in IT Audit and Controls within a big 4 firm seeking an opportunity to lead a vital transformation/quality initiative for a leading firm and to move away from being “a small fish in a big pond”.We have worked with our client for several years, introducing a number of senior specialists to the firm and know the audit and TRA leadership well and can confirm that their culture is second to none.
