Do you want to make a genuine difference to the planet Do you love numbers, know IT and enjoy being part of a supportive teamAbout the roleThe IT team at Drax support all areas of the business, and the IT Business Management role is critical to ensure that it is run cost effectively.The position will have responsibility for providing financial insight; supporting the budgeting and forecasting of IT BAU spend with budget holders.This will include managing and reporting on headcount numbers, reporting on supplier spend, proving cost transparencyfor IT services by tower, application, business service and business unit.This position is pivotal to the team to make sure the IT department is fully accounted for and financially sound to ensure everything stays on track.These positions are available to hybrid working with Drax having offices in Selby, Northampton, London, and Ipswich.About youWe are looking for someone with a blend of skills and knowledge across IT and accounting/finance. A likely previous role would have been a PMO, but there are other positions where this would be a suitable move from a transferable skills perspective. FinancialPlanning, Budgeting, Costing, Forecasting and Reporting are all duties within this position.
