Job Description

IT Application ArchitectType - PermSalary - £85k to £95k base + bonus + benefitsLocation - London (1 day a week in office)Looking for an IT Application Architect to maintain and develop the architecture of an in-house developed settlements applications and supporting systems.Candidates should have additional experience of:

  • Experience in a senior IT delivery role designing and developing back-end mission critical applications with focus fault tolerant, distributed applications
  • A good working understanding of all aspects of the software development life-cycle.
  • Experienced in managing a high performance, diverse and globally distributed team
  • Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Qualification or certification in Architecture methodology or technology solutions such as TOGAF, CITA or RHCA.
  • Experience with cross-border payments, foreign exchange and SWIFT and ISO2022 messaging
  • Expert in some or all of the following technologies: C, C++, Java, J2EE in a Linux environment
  • Expert understanding of software design methodologies, processes and design patterns
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and line-management skills
