Job Description

OUR CLIENT is an independentand successful non-bankfinance business; offering private debt finance for property developers. Their aim is to fill the financing gap left by banks and traditional credit providers that have receded from theEuropean credit markets as a result of increased regulation and the global financial crisis. Now our Client is looking for Investor Relations Business Development Manager to help with fundraising.Based in London with hybrid working THE ROLEWill report to the Head of Investor Relations and key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, contacting and developing relationships with potential investors.
  • Creating and updating marketing materials.
  • Negotiating and project managing the closing of new fund commitments.
  • Assisting investors with ad hoc requests and queries.
  • Maintaining database of prospective investors in CRM.
  • Responding to industry surveys and ad hoc requests.
  • Assisting with various other ad hoc projects and analyses for the team.
THE PERSON: To apply, you will have a minimum of 5 years related financial services experience within property (or related sector) and you will ideally possess a strong academic record (degree minimum). Also, you need to have an Investorrelations experience within real estate credit / alternatives / private markets. The incumbent should be confident user of Microsoft software package and possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. The Client is looking forenthusiastic and entrepreneurial individual able to multi-task, prioritise deliverables, and manage/meet multiple deadlines in a detail-oriented environment.
