Job Description

About the roleIn your role as Investment Risk Manager you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to driving the ongoing growth and development of public market investment risk oversight. The wider teamhas oversight for both public and private markets, hence a great opportunity to collaborate extensively, and offers great visibility to senior management.What you will be doingAs a trusted part of the PAIR you will be responsible for:

  • To actively oversight investment risk taking across public market portfolios, including equity, fixed income and multi-asset strategies.
  • The Investment Risk team is highly collaborative with investment desks, focusing on challenge of investment risks, including market, credit, concentration, liquidity and ESG.
  • Promoting strong stakeholder relationships across investment desks is a key principle, while maintaining strong challenge and supporting the Chief Risk Officer in the overall oversight of investment risk.

  • Proven investment risk experience in the investment management or pensions/endowments industry.
  • Experience in quantitative and risk modelling ideally with external risk systems such as MSCI Barra One or Risk Manager.
  • Knowledge of risk management within large complex and diverse portfolios, with proven experience of risk management across public markets.
