Who were looking for We are looking for an Investment Product Analyst to join the Emerging Market Product team, based in London, to support the teams Investment Directors as well as the wider Investment team. The role will be full time and based in London. The team The product teams supporting the wider investment teams act as a conduit between investment and distribution functions with respect to promoting and managing the product range, with the aim of maintaining high standards of investment performance and clientservicing. With 50 experienced members of staff located in London, NY, Sao Paulo, Dubai and Asia, the Emerging Markets Equity Investment team manages in excess of $36.7 billion across 11 strategies for institutional and intermediary clients all over the world. The teamis also part of the wider Schroder EM Strategic Capability comprising AUM of more than $90bn. You would work as part of a team of 4 supporting the Emerging Markets Investment Directors (London & NY) and the wider EM Investment team. Source: Schroders, all data as at Jun 2022. What youll do The role will involve acting as a link between the investment and distribution functions with respect to promoting and managing the products. The role involves assisting the investment directors in producing client-facing materials and conducting product analysisto support the investment team and distribution teams in their communications with both existing and prospective clients. You will have to be self-motivated, detail orientated and should have the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key tasks include but are not limited to: Working closely with the Investment Directors and the Business Development teams to complete high quality, client focused RFPs, RFIs, DDQs etc. including ESG questionnaires within the agreed deliverable timeframe. This also involves writing, updating andmaintaining product language and data in RFP & consultant databases Production of accurate and effective written materials to be used in RFPs, marketing material, investment reports etc Support business growth from prospective clients as well as continued servicing of existing clients by responding to product/portfolio related enquiries in a prompt and helpful manner Assistance with preparation of client presentations/new business pitches, client reporting, marketing material as required by liaising with Investment Directors, Investment team and other internal teams etc Ensuring core data in area(s) of expertise/responsibility is kept up to date and accurate in accordance with agreed processes and proactively updating systems, internal sites and databases with product specific information Involvement with strategic projects and initiatives (ESG, new product launch, thought leadership etc.) The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need Previous experience and a strong interest in financial markets, and the asset management industry Excellent written communication skills and strong quantitative skills Ability to synthesise information, creating economies of scales across products where appropriate Good IT skills essential, proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Excel & Powerpoint) The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help Minimum of degree level qualification IMC/CFA (or equivalent) desirable but not required Familiarity with FactSet, Aladdin, Eikon, Morningstar/eVestment, Seismic, Qvidian and Tableau would be useful What youll be like Highly organised with the ability to manage tight deadlines in multiple priority environments Thorough, accurate and excellent attention to detail You will be keen to work as part of a team as well as be able to work on your own initiative with limited direction Creative thinker and writer, able to articulate portfolio strategy in engaging commentary Were looking for the best, whoever they are Schroders is an equal opportunities employer.
