We are working with a global investment bank that is looking to hire a unique individual to help the Global Co-Heads of its markets business in a strategic capacity.Youll be working with an small, exceptional team of ex strategy and global markets individuals that are responsible for supporting the Co-Heads of this banks global markets business. The team produces reports, insights and presentations on some of thekey priorities for the bank. For example, perhaps one of the global markets leads wants to understand why the bank is underperforming in an area of its equities business or how a key piece of regulation might affect future performance We are looking for peoplewith astrategic mind who can be creative. This role works across all product areas; the remit can be broad.We are looking for a blend of:1. Tier 1 consultancy background (desired)2. Strong global markets knowledge, ideally from a front office role/background (essential)3. First class presentation skills, especially using Excel/Powerpoint to craft carefully curated messaging and storyboarding4. Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a small team and the markets heads5. Strong teamwork and collaborative attitude in working to answers fromtricky questions and briefs6. Strategy experience is desired, if not, strategic business management skills or front office analysis across sales and trading is of interestThis could be somebody from a markets, M&Aor strategy background though they must ideally have broadglobal markets content in their history.There is a fantastic career path here, the MD making this hire is looking for someone with a 5-8 year view to reach MD. Given the visibility and seniority of stakeholders, there is a sensitivity with this hire to make sure the person has the right long termaspirations to grow and develop as part of this team.We are looking for collaborative individuals who work well as part of a team that is fostering inclusivity and a flexibleworking environment.Base salary has an additional 30-50% average bonus on top.
