Investment Associate - Real Estate Private Equity

Key Responsibilities:

Review complex financial and legal agreements and other documents associated with potential investments.
Understand and quantify the economic impacts on valuation and projected investment returns
Research other legal issues to assist in the due diligence for potential acquisitions.
Conduct corporate and property level due diligence for potential investments.
Prepare IC memoranda and deal models, cash flow analysis, transaction structures and deal terms to present via IC presentations
Offer insight and ideas regarding potential investments, creative transaction structures and deal terms
Build relationships on behalf of the firm with the brokerage/intermediary community.
Work with management teams post acquisition to maintain oversight and provide GP level strategic guidance and ongoing investment oversight.
The firm invests across all real estate asset classes including Residential Office, Industrial, Life Science and Data Centres
Geographical focus is across Europe include in the UK& Ireland and across Europe including Poland, Germany, Spain and Nordics

Background

Proven real estate buy-side experience, ideally from a leading real estate private equity investor.
3-5 years’ relevant investment experience
Experience of both property/asset and corporate level/operating company level investing
Track record of real estate investing in the UK and across Europe
More focused on execution/underwriting but origination skills are a plus
Experience of investing across a broad range of real estate sectors
Advanced financial modelling – can build from scratch
MBA in real estate, finance or related field would be a plus
Fluent English – 2nd European Language a benefit
