Job Description

Intervention Teacher A warm, efficient, and inclusive school in the heart of London is offering a long-term intervention teacher role until July 2024. This is a great opportunity for an excellent intervention teacher looking for a long-term role that is closeto Lewisham station. The role is a one-one position with a lovely boy who has SEMH needs. He is not SEN but does need extra support in the classroom. Particularly, managing his emotional responses to situations.Role requirements of an Intervention Teacher:

  • Able to work effectively with small groups
  • Experience working in KS2
  • A willingness to help in extra curriculum activities
  • Able to work effectively with small groups
Main responsibilities for an Intervention Teacher:
  • To assist the classroom teacher in take engaging lessons
  • Making sure the interventions are in line with the schools needs
  • Co-ordinate effectively with Class Teacher
  • To perform safeguarding duties
  • Perform interventions
  • Happy to organise and plan short sessions
