Job Description

My client, a global technology business based near WATERLOO STATION is seeking an INTERNATIONAL PAYROLL SPECIALIST to join their growing business. The organisation has more than doubled in size in the last 18 months with the finance function going from 2 people five years ago to 20 people in 2023.You will sit within the Group Finance Team where you will be the first payroll hire and will drive and lead the payroll function.== PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS HYBRID WITH TUESDAY & THURSDAY IN THE OFFICE ==THE ROLE

  • Make sure that the payroll function runs efficiently across all of the company entities and geographies
  • Work with various payroll bureaus, providing them with timely, accurate information needed
  • Review the individual entity payrolls each month
  • Consolidate and post the relevant journals into NetSuite
  • Analyse and provide commentary to the management accounting team specifically relating to changes in relation to salaries
  • Reconciliation of payroll data on a monthly and yearly basis
  • Reporting at year-end of the relevant tax data - from P11Ds to PSA reporting
  • Be the go-to person for all staff relating to pay and tax
  • Help to implement best practice within payroll and constantly looking to efficiency and controls
  • Helping the Head of HR with regular reports, specifically HR metrics, including attrition information
  • Keeping up to date with the current global payroll regulations and best practice
THE IDEAL PERSON
  • Experience in managing international payrolls (USA, UK & APAC)
  • Experience in managing third party payroll bureaus in international locations
  • Incredible interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders
  • Being able to speak another language is highly desirable!
  • NetSuite is a nice to have
