International Controllers Business Analyst - Fixed Term Contract

About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a dynamic and highly organized individual to join the international controller data controller and change management team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the team with the development of key data pre-processingactivities for International regulatory reporting. The International Controllers group is responsible for regulatory, financial and management reporting requirements in across EMEA, APAC & Canada. The team provides local support for varied financial services business lines as well as the International CFO/management team. In this role, you will:

• Work in the International Controllers data controller and change management team, assisting with the development of key data pre-processing activities for International regulatory reporting, including but not limited to standing up a brand-new team, engagingin the build out of the infrastructure, building out the operating and control model.
• Assist in delivery of controller E2E traceability requirement through chosen tools, assessing the effectiveness of data lineage outputs throughout end-to-end processes, and assist in identifying and designing solutions where any enhancement opportunitiesare identified.
• Assist in developing & managing an effective operating model for the communication and remediation of data issues with enterprise-wide data management colleagues and partner with the enterprise on day-to-day mgmt. of controller issue from prioritisationto remediation and associated reporting.
• Assist in documenting processes and decisions as part of data pre-processing for regulatory reporting.

Required Qualifications, International:

• Experience in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting, Risk Reporting, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• Experience and understanding in designing/operating an effective data lineage/traceability process.
• Experience in a data governance and issues management.
• Understanding core regulatory and financial reporting responsibilities and requirements across Intl regions (COREP, IFR, statistical reporting desirable).
• Broad knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and services.
• Understanding of risks and mitigating controls expected within a regulatory reporting function.
• Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum) project delivery methodology and track record of delivering change in this environment.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently within a team structure.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present concisely and accurately to senior audiences.
• Intuitive; fast learner with good problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated success with collaborating and positively influencing business units to identify, formulate, and implement processes/procedures to drive change.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, independent thinker and quick decision maker.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
