Job Description

We believe that actively managing our Clients Lifecycle journey should be engrained in our culture at Wells Fargo, and form part of our day-to-day to develop a deep understanding and connectivity around our customers. Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) exists to help organisations determine and orchestrate the interactions with our customers, across the end-to-end journey in which we work together during the onboarding, maintenance and offboarding processes for clients bydriving executional excellence end-to-end. This is achieved using measurable customer metrics and strong governance and controls around data to indicate the quality and efficiency of our customers experience over time. At Wells Fargo a capsule but nimble International CLM team was established in 2022, with a mandate to plan and deliver an agile multi-year programme of work around Client Lifecycle Management. The Oversight and Change function within CLM defines, delivers andimproves services for the CIB business that links to the CIB Control framework, ensuring continuous improvement to simplify, streamline and automate the client lifecycle. Reporting to, and working closely with the International CLM Governance, Controls & Data Lead this candidate will be expected to perform analyst duties and assist with governance and controls initiatives for the oversight and change function. The role holder will act as a key support within a small, centralised team, to review and identify key opportunities for tracking and monitoring project initiatives that pertain to the Client Lifecycle environment. The role holder will be an active and visible member of the International CLM team, building trusted relationships and partnering closely with other team members, operational areas and business stakeholders. This role is pitched as a analyst level supporting all lines of business within the International CIB Division and it is possible that the responsibilities of the role will evolve as the CLM team becomes more established. This role will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about Wells Fargos risk management strategy, and to build a network with front-line relationship management coverage teams. Key role responsibilities include:

  • Gaining experience of independently and proactively handling record keeping processes
  • Monitoring movement in activity in a customer focused manner
  • Demonstrating your highly organised nature, with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Building an understanding of Financial Crime risk, implementing Wells Fargos Policies & Procedures
  • Coordinating activities and solving problems
  • Demonstrating solid research skills by being adept at gathering and presenting information
  • Staying motivated to keep track of deadlines tracked against KPIs
  • Helping the CLM Governance Lead with meticulous sorting and cataloguing of information and documents relating to governance & data projects
  • Conducting research related to risk-related initiatives
  • Organising Forum calls with stakeholders, minuting attendance and lodging action points
  • Tracking data in line with processes relating to KPIs / SLAs / SHRPS
  • Assisting with building presentations to track progress and milestones of the Governance processes which CLM is monitoring
  • Requesting information returns from the business stakeholders, confirming data sources and partners with management in decision making process
  • Partnering with Governance and Controls Lead to resolve any risk escalation issues and provides status updates on implementations to improve processes.

  • Junior relationship associate / customer service support experience desirable
  • Experience participating in projects and supporting business initiatives
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) experience desirable
  • Ability to develop and manage internal client relationships
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
