To lead on key internal communications and engagement projects including change communications ensuring staff feel informed, valued, engaged and able to play their part in delivering our strategy.Client DetailsCharity in London who promote flexible workingDescriptionTo deliver clear, engaging and high-quality communications to meet the needs of our diverse internal audience during a time of considerable change.Manage multiple internal communications channels - including the intranet, regular e-newsletters and weekly blogs and emails and source, and source, write and edit content.To lead on key change projects, advising senior leaders, producing and delivering communications plans and evaluating impact.To design and lead key set-piece engagement events and campaigns, project managing from start to finish, planning strategic content and advising senior leaders.To be responsible for all intranet content, monitoring and evaluating to drive improvements based on user experience.To work with our regional colleagues to develop and implement effective relationships and communication channels, building engagement and collaboration across these key areas of our work.To champion internal communications throughout the organisation - raising the profile of our IC work, ensuring teams are encouraged to consult us at an early stage of their planning.To deputise for the Internal Communications and Engagement Lead in his absence.ProfileThey will be able to demonstrate effective inter-personal skills and highly developed written and verbal communications skillsExperience of change communicationsExperience of intranet content managementBasic understanding of the components of common web technology (HTML, CSS, Javascript)Experience of researching and writing clear, concise and plain English copy for a range of audiences, particularly internalExperience of planning and delivering communications projects that deliver measurable resultsExperience of delivering effective internal communications initiatives in a large and/or complex organisations going through changeHigh level of comfort with social software and other web-based technologiesExperience of working with other departments and other stakeholdersJob OfferContract until end of Janaury 2021Role starting asapInterviews in SeptemberRole reports into Internal Comms and Engagement Lead40,382 salaryFlexible locationRemote working with potential office working alsoInternal Comms Manager position (interim) Required skills
