Job Description

Internal Communications Manager - 12 Month FTC£60,000 - £70,000 per annumHybrid Working - 2 DAYS A WEEK OFFICE BASEDImmediate interviews and start available.My client who are a successful global Insurance company with a head office base in London is currently looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join their growing team.As the Internal Communications Change Manager, you will work closely with business leaders and executives as well as your communication counterparts in the region and globally, to promote the employer branding.The role based in the heart of the City of London with 2 office days per week.The responsibilities include:

  • Support delivery of "people communications" - implement internal communication plan with appropriate messaging and tactics within business units in the UK and Ireland region
  • Administration and delivery of internal event (virtual, face to face and hybrid) that engage employees, position leaders, meet business needs and enable successful change.
  • Collaborate with global Communications teams to ensure Group campaign (e.g. DE&I, EVP, and hybrid working) are aligned in the region through a one-voice strategy and showcase stories and successes from the region in a relevant way to global internal audiences.
  • Working closely with the HR Leadership Team, deliver high quality campaigns and employee experiences around change and culture initiatives.
  • Management of internal coms channels - content and event calendar, yammer and intranet sites
  • Measure success of internal campaigns. Continue to raise engagement by reviewing the channels, results and actions on the back of campaigns
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling many projects and requests across multiple markets and business lines, simultaneously. Keep a view of the big picture, with an eye on the details.
  • Algin with business and Global Communications stakeholders to leverage best practices, tools and create synergy in the region.
Experience required
  • 3+ years communications experience in HR or financial services.
  • Creative, passionate, energetic and a bias towards action.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on-time.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional project and project teams.
  • Excellent communications - writing and verbal - skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills.
  • Vendor relationship management experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to corporate leaders, middle management, and partners and lead (influence) discussions to develop project objectives.
  • Technical skill basic knowledge - social media image formats, web language, internet/intranet maintenance skills, use of multimedia tools and technologies.
