Our FinancialServices Business Risk Services (FS BRS) team, provide clients with advisory and assurance services, through the provision of tailored, flexible and cost-effective solutions, that provide access to industry good practice methodology, value add insights andsubject matter experts.We’re happy to talk flexible working and consider reduced hours and job shares, we’ll support you to balance your work and life.A look into the role As an Internal Audit Programme Assurance Senior Manager within our Financial Services Business Risk Services (FS BRS) team you will:

  • Working across the financial services sector, lead the portfolio of outsourced internal audits, providing assurance over change related initiatives, including project, programmes (large and small scale), technology / software product development, in additionto portfolios and change methodologies (waterfall and agile).
  • Own the full audit lifecycle, involving risk assessment, evaluation and the identification/ testing of key controls and reporting.
  • Own and further develop the outsourced audit change assurance methodology in line with the evolution of regulatory and market requirements,
  • Support and engage with clients as a part of larger assignments on broader advisory and assurance change related work across the lines of defence.
  • Support and lead business development activities that grow the practice.
Knowing you’re right for us Joining us as an Internal Audit Programme Assurance Senior Manager within our Financial Services Business Risk Services team, the minimum criteria you’ll need is experience in a change delivery or change assurance role. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
  • Demonstrable experience in assuring and / or delivering complex technology programmes.
  • Understand the key drivers of risk related to technology enabled change.
  • An understanding of change governance and risk management practices.
  • The ability to tailor change assurance methodologies to the maturity of the client and the complexity of the programme.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations.
  • Business development and marketing activities.
  • An understanding of requirements relating to change activities in a regulated environment.
