Job Description

Intermediate Sustainability Consultant - LondonRef: DB1135Salary up to £35,000 Plus BenefitsOur client is looking for an Intermediate Sustainability Consultant to join their well-established construction consultancy. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work across a wide range of sectors: housing, education, health, care,blue light, commercial, regeneration and mixed use.In order to be considered for this Intermediate Sustainability Consultant role you will have:

  • BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Environmental, Construction or similar
  • Minimum two years experience in a similar role
  • Practical experience with building modelling (e.g. FSAP/IES)
  • Experience using IES and Elmhurst / Building Regulations Part L assessments using NHER
  • Knowledge of energy efficient building design
  • NDEA and OCDEA qualifications (Desirable)
  • BREEAM assessor qualification (Desirable)
  • Brilliant communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills
  • Experience in producing energy/sustainability statements and strategies
  • Knowledge of 1Click LCA software to complete Life Cycle Assessments
Working as an Intermediate Sustainability Consultant you will:
  • Complete energy assessments and modelling
  • Undertake daylight analysis
  • Complete dynamic modelling for thermal comfort assessments and overheating risk assessments
  • Liaise with clients and build lasting relationships
  • Produce energy and sustainability statements and strategies for both clients in the public and private sectors
  • Assist with projects across various sectors
