Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with a national charity who have a vision for people and communities all over England to be able to flourish and enjoy life in all its fullness. They are currently looking to recruit an Interim Regional Coordinator to oversee the delivery of homeless prevention services across Yorkshire. This position is offered on a temporary basis initially for 2-3 months.As their Regional Coordinator, you will coordinate the delivery and development of their homelessness prevention programme; Positive Pathways, which is currently delivered through seven partner organisations in Leeds, Doncaster, Sheffield and Middleborough. Their programme is specifically designed to help people who have experienced homelessness to move forward in life and focus on developing a broad range of life skills, which will ultimately enable them to achieve an end goal of permanent sustainable accommodation and community integration.To be successful, you will have previous experience of managing the delivery of support services that are accessed by people affected by homelessness, rough sleeping or a similar client group and will have excellent interpersonal skills to lead a dispersed team of external partners. This is a crucial role for the charity, and as such, you will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, have proven experience of developing and expanding services regionally. This role offers high levels of autonomy and therefore the ability to contribute at both an operational and strategic level is essential, as is the knowledge and understanding of the barrier individuals with complex need face on their journey to achieve independence.To be considered, you must be available to start immediately.
