Job Description

Are you a hands-on payroll professional seeking a new challenge Would you be excited about the opportunity to work for a highly prestigious public sector organisation Interested in gaining further experience within payroll If yes, read on!Robertson Bell are partnering with a not for profit organisation to recruit an Interim Payroll Assistant for an initial three month contract. This is a part time role, three to four days per week, in Central London on a hybrid basis.The main responsibilities include:

  • Work with the payroll manger to ensure of the end to end monthly payroll.
  • Verify payroll data for compliance and accuracy
  • Post payroll journals and reconcile payroll balance sheet accounts
  • Make payments to staff, HMRC, pension providers and other third parties
  • Produce annual salary statements.
The successful candidate will have:
  • At least two years experience withing payroll.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of iTrent is highly desirable but by no means essential.
