An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-known, multi-site consumer business as their Interim Head of Finance on a 6 month basis. This role will support the CFO with the day-to-day running of the finance team and lead various transformation projects.Along with leading a team who are responsible for financial reporting, compliance, cash management, property & capex projects, you will be leading on driving efficiencies in transactional finance, processing and reporting. You will be responsible for owningthe month end consolidation of company results (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for stakeholders, be responsible for year-end audit process, be key point of contact of auditors and produce stat accounts, lead production of the monthly reporting to banks, leadrole in monthly review/management of the UK balance sheets - always embedding a culture of strong financial control, full balance sheet recs completed on a quarterly basis. As the interim Head of Finance, you will assess and improve the effectiveness and efficiencyof finance processes, systems, and controls across all aspects of the business. You will be expected to continuously develop processes by simplifying and developing the team whilst working in a vibrant business surrounded by great people.Previous experience working in hospitality, retail, consumer, multi-site businesses would be advantageous. This role requires a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with a proven track record in a similar Financial Controller/Head of Finance position,demonstrating experience with month-end transformation, transformation projects and process improvements.This role is on a hybrid basis, based between their Central London office and home.
