Job Description

Interm Finance Manager | Hospitality brand | £300-£350 per day | Permanent role | Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office | Contract whilst they recruit permanently JasperRose have partnered with a well-known hospitality brand who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their, fast-growth team on a interim basis whilst they recruit permanently. This is a hybrid role based in Central London with the expectation of 1 daya week in office and has incredibly flexible working practices. This is an opportunity to join a restaurant chain that has doubled in size over the past 2 years, resulting in new store openings in 2024.Reporting to the Finance Director, the main responsibilities of this role will be to drive and manage the finance team successfully, manage the month end reporting including the various analysis and business partner with stakeholders across the business.Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Management and development of 2 direct reports
  • Working closely with the Finance Director on the financial strategy of the business, budgeting cycle and continuously looking at ways to evolve the finance structure and processes
  • Production of management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations and P&L management
  • Business partnering with stakeholders across all the sites, to discuss trade performance
  • Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Involvement in the year end-audit process and liaising directly with the External Accountants
  • Reviewing the existing finance processes and providing improvements
  • Management of the cashflow forecasting and VAT returns
Skill set requiredThe successful candidate will a Qualified Accountant with proven experience managing a small team. You must have experience producing management accounts with multisite experience, having previously worked in the Retail, FMCG or Hospitality industry. Therole will involve business partnering with stakeholders across the business, you must have the confidence and gravitas to challenge and build relationships with senior managers, as well as experience of process improvements.
