Role Be the Finance Transformation/change Lead, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, and management team, fixing/improving the Finance and Accounting function. Develop and lead a pro-active, high performing finance function with appropriate systems and processes and peopple, which will enable the company to operate efficiently with visibility on its past, present and future positions. Cultivate an agile and commercially accurate forecasting and reporting environment focusing on data, insight, KPIs and cashflow management. Experience Required Financial leadership, operating as an Interim Finance Director, Interim Head of Finance, or Interim Finance Consultant (systems) at a fast-growing company. Strong familiarity with relevant high volume transaction business models. Designing, implementing, or improving MI systems particularly around reporting, pricing and performance. History of developing and implementing systems, sophisticated tools, and processes to increase business insight and help drive efficient growth. Ideally (but not limited to) operating with relevant business model experience i.e., software, SaaS, B2B, Data Analytics, or broad technology. Sound technical knowledge - a qualified Chartered accountant (or equivalent) Aadvanced knowledge of Excel is essential, experience of Xero, and a user of technology to drive high quality reporting where possible through the use of automation. Personal Characteristics A rigorous and credible Finance leader. Confident presenter, with high levels of written and oral communication skills. Smart and driven, with the ability to think deeply and qualitatively about business problems, breaking down issues and presenting solutions. Genuine experience of the creation or improvement of Finance systems. Strong Financial Control, Reporting and FP&A skill sets with an analytical, and intellectually curious mind-set; analytical and metrics driven. Hands-on nature.Required skills
