Job Description

Robertson Bell are pleased to be working with a Central Government organisation to recruit an Interim Commercial Systems Project Manager, on a contract initially running up until the 31st December 2022 with a chance of extension beyond that point. The rolewill be worked remotely with occasional travel into one of their offices for workshops.As the Interim Commercial Systems Project Manager, you will be focusing on the development and the deployment of the organisations Commercial strategy and programme with the goal of ensure the department use available commercial information to aid decisionmaking and ensuring value for money.Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead the design and implementation of the commercial transformation strategy, supporting refreshed e-procurement system and supplier portal.
  • Lead the implementation of the Oracle ERP implementation, ensuring P2P and business processes are clearly defined.
  • Oversee MI strategy and tools including championing the MI information to make effective decisions.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure optimum design and configuration of commercial systems.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Direct experience with configuration/implementation of eSourcing tools (Bravo/Proactis or similar).
  • Experience of delivering Procurement technologies, tools and applications for both strategic and transactional requirements.
  • Business analysis and data migration skills.
  • A proven track record in project management and delivery, leading teams, effective stakeholder engagement.
Please note this role is inside of IR35 and will be paid through an umbrella company.Due to the nature of the organisation and its sensitive information, you will be required to hold valid and current SC or DV Clearance (utilised within the last 12 months). Or if you dont currently hold these clearances, you must be willing to go throughthe SC Clearance security vetting process.
