Job Description

TITLE - INTEGRATION ENGINEERCONTRACT - UNTIL END OF 2024LOCATION - CENTRAL LONDON HYBRID (3 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE)SALARY - £45-52K DEPENDING ON EXPRIENCE We are looking for an Integration Engineer to join a leading technology consultancy in London. This is a contract role until the end of 2024. Role overview:Responsible for the design, development, and deployment of working capital solutions for clients. Migration and execution of active and new. transactions. You will be responsible for the implementation team responsible for the programme will consist of TeamLead, Implementation Analysts, Configuration Analysts, and Integration Engineer. As an Integration Engineer you will be responsible for developing new interfaces and integrations, customising out of the box functionality, and reporting and automating existingmanual processes. You will do/be:

  • Implement Automated solutions using existing ETL tools and templates to deliver
  • Input file remapping
  • Transfer of input files to processing locations
  • Item level reporting
  • Transfer of output reports and files to external stakeholders via SFTP/email
  • Support the development of aggregated data reporting
  • Adhere to agreed change management processes when deploying to UAT and Production
  • Document all implemented solutions in transaction handover documents and runbooks
  • Provide support to client services teams
  • Implements, test and check in al code changes
  • JIRA and TDD tickets
  • Implement custom reports, get sign off and approval
  • Apply change requests through the formal CR process to the application
  • Upload and sign off tickets
  • Provide support once project is live
Requirements
  • 2-4 years experience working in development or application support in a Financial Services or Technology business.
  • knowledge of T-SQL and are comfortable working with relational databases.
  • programming skills in OOP language such as Java.
  • know how to read, edit and create XML documents.
  • have strong knowledge of technical concepts such as SFTP and APIs.
  • have demonstrable experience working with Bash/ Powershell scripting.
  • have demonstrable experience of working within a project environment.
  • have exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in work product.
  • flourish in a dynamic high-pressure environment and are comfortable context switching between different projects and time sensitive tasks.
Desired requirements (NON ESSENTIAL)
  • Bachelors degree in a numerate subject
  • Knowledge of Apache tools such as Tomcat, Karaf, ActiveMQ, POI library
  • Experience using ActiveBatch and/ or Talend ESB to automate data ETL
  • Experience working with infrastructure monitoring tools such as Datadog
  • Previous experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence
