Job Description

Comp - £65k - £85k + BonusThe RoleThis role will provide an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to make a meaningful contribution and gain first-hand experience of working across a range of private market investment strategies and fundraising initiatives.The Manager will be involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle – from initial market research, concept design and testing, through to launch and, in due course, ongoing investor engagement.This role would be well suited to a proactive individual with at least 4 years’ work experience. The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, organisational skills, be deadline oriented and have the ability to work well under pressure.Your responsibilities will include:

  • This is a highly visible role, which will entail working with the Partners, on multiple projects.
  • Working with the Investment teams and our centres of expertise across the business to assist with the launch of new institutional products. In particular, driving project management of initiatives and coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Helping to manage and contribute to the creation of tailored, persuasive and high-quality sales documents and other collateral for various new institutional offerings. This also includes the verification of the data included within these documents.
  • Carrying out market mapping exercises to support product development activities – in particular, considering new areas of focus and identifying investor demand and the scale of the product opportunity. Where appropriate you will have the opportunity todevelop fund models to support concept discussions.
  • Completing information requests from investors and their advisors.
  • Producing competitor analysis reports and presenting to interested parties, including senior management.
  • Responsibility for preparing quarterly updates to the ‘master presentation decks’ for the business and the respective Private Markets strategies.
Skills / Experience
  • Educated to degree standard, preferably in business/economics/legal-related subjects but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A desire to learn about the business and product range, and to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Financial services experience with institutional investors or large corporates – either in corporate finance, lead advisory, capital raising or ongoing investor relations.
