We are recruiting for one of the fastest growing UK Payments Fin-Tech companies and as a result, they have created this new Cost Analyst position, which will report into the Finance Director and act as a Business Partner to all key stakeholders withinthe Group to support all project activity.We need candidates with experience in the payments industry or a relatable Fin-Tech. Great opportunity to get involved in some high level analysis regarding the performance of the business, project milestones and other key initiatives within the business.Key duties:· Ownership and development of cost centre reporting for all key projects and identification of trends, risks and opportunities· Ownership and development of cost centre KPI dashboards highlighting trends and operational efficiencies· Liaise with budget holders to understand progress, challenge performance and get to the root cause of cost drivers· Provision of daily, weekly and monthly reports for both internal and external stakeholders· Manage budget and forecast for all key projects to support decision making· Production of post-capital expenditure review highlighting ROI performance· Provide analytical support to the wider business e.g. assistance in preparing business cases/investment decisions and reviews· Assist in the building and development of various reporting tools via SQLCost Analyst Person Specification:· Part qualified or fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience· Highly analytical with the ability to drill into and understand the numbers, and possess the numerical skills to support decision making· Excellent IT skills, in particular Excel and ideally SQL· Highly motivated self-starter, able to work on own initiative· First class interpersonal skills as you will regularly interact and communicate with individuals or groupsUnlock your potential in the dynamic world of Fin-Tech!
