Job Description

Our client is currently looking for an ambitious Inside Sales Representativeto join their sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their sales career or use their highly tuned organisational and customer facing skillsto move into a sales environment.The companyOur client is a specialist engineering software company who supply leading design technology as well as associated consultancy, integration, and professional services. They work in a range of markets, spanning the architecture, engineering, construction, process,and plant industries. A leading reseller in the UK, they have a core focus on technical excellence and helping their clients to enhance their project workflows. The roleAs an Inside Sales Representativeyou will join a tight-knit sales team to manage, qualify and report of sales leads within your sector. Youll discover prospects, extend existing customer relationships and transform renewals to generate new interest in theproduct portfolio and accelerate revenue growth. Your role in addressing and advising on customer enquiries will be crucial in positioning our client as the platform of choice.Responsibilities include:

  • Owning an assigned set of accounts and expanding a prospect database
  • Opening new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound warm/cold calling and emails
  • Building strong relationships with customers and prospects
  • Developing a thorough understanding of customer requirements
  • Putting strategies and processes in place to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Actively partaking in events and customer forums, both online and in person
  • Being a company ambassador
The requirementsYoull be an experienced sales individual, ideally within the Software and/or IT domain, as well as:
  • Track record of hitting and exceeding quotas in a B2B role
  • Experience in a CAD environment is desirable
  • Highly organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening and negotiation skills
  • Able to credibly engage with customers in a virtual setting
  • New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong computer literacy skills (including CRM and Microsoft Suite)
  • Keen to develop personally and professionally
