Job Description

Ingres Consultant20 Days Initially - Remote Working - Outside IR35Triad are urgently looking for an Ingres Consultant to help one of our clients with their old legacy system. As a result of this, the system keeps crashing, so they require someone who has recent hands-on experience of Ingres, ideally Ingres 6 or above. Any experience with Java would also be desirable.Experience/Key Skills

  • Databases - Ingres ideally, Actian X would be a plus.
  • Java GUI experience.
  • Databases - infrastructure config e.g. DR.
  • Legacy Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) would be a plus, but is not essential.
    • General Expertise:
  • Database platform migration (between versions of a DB or different products).
  • Database administration skills, monitoring, performance etc.
  • Data archiving experience on production systems.
  • Stabilising code.
  • Review DR capability and advising on a way forward.
