Job Description

Infrastructure Project Manager - £50,000-£55,000+Benefits - LondonMy client is a leading light in the Financial Services arena based in London. Due to continued growth, we have an urgent requirement for a Permanent Infrastructure Project Manager.As the Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be taking the lead within a fast-paced team and managing several exciting new infrastructure Projects over the next 12 months. These projects include:

  • Desktop Cyber Threat Protection
  • Server Cyber Threat Protection
  • Global Video Conference replacementMicrosoft Teams & Crestron
  • Umbrella Web Filtration
  • IT GovernanceISO 27001
  • File ServiceReplacement of ICGs legacy widow file server
  • Office Remote Management
  • Business application projects
The Infrastructure Project Manager will be working closely with the Senior Infrastructure Project Manager and the Head of Infrastructure. You will be working in an Agile environment with regular Scrums and fortnightly Sprints but still occasionally using Waterfall methods when needed. On a daily basis, the Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for:
  • Managing concurrent Infrastructure projects and tracking progress through two-week agile sprints
  • Liaising with and managing where required, external suppliers and implementers
  • Identifying and managing project dependencies
  • Defining and preparing communications, progress reports and plans
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Identifying and tracking project risks and issues; working with stakeholders to mitigate and close out issues as appropriate
  • Interpreting business needs and translating them into requirements and actions
  • Communicating concisely to all stakeholders (both technical and non-technical)
  • Adapting plans quickly as things change and understanding the impact on the overall roadmap
  • Capable of overseeing project transition into BAU operation (Service Transition)
