As Europes largest manufacturer of waste-based biodiesel, renewables are core to Greenergys strategy to drive transport decarbonisationthrough continued leadership in renewables.An established supplier and distributor of transportation fuels, Greenergy operates strategic infrastructure in key demand locations, offering customers unmatched supply resilience across the UK, Ireland, Canada, Brazil and through a joint venture in Bahrain.Infrastructure Support EngineerWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join us here in our London office.The purpose of the role is to provide 3rd Line Technical Support across IT functions and day-to-day support to the user community across all office sites and remote locations.Key Tasks Include but will not be limited to;

  • Management of Escalated ServiceDesk tickets to ensure calls our dealt with and communicated in the correct manor.
  • Working with Service desk to review of logs, monitors and alerts.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day support of the IT function remotely across all Greenergy sites and data centres.
  • Participating and owning project delivery and
  • Be involved in the effective operation of all IT across all sites, offices and data centres including appropriate communication to all parties involved.
  • User management and administration including Active Directory, O365, MS Server,
  • Day-to-day liaison with key partners and third party local suppliers, including issue escalation.
  • Basic Networking e.g. configuring ports on Cisco switches
  • Adherence to operational procedures and industry best practices.
  • Contribution to the planning of project.
  • Responsible for ensuring support of operational processes across IT teams.
Skills and attributes for success will include but not limited to;
  • Technical knowledge on infrastructure across technologies -
  • Virtualization experience with a preference for VMware, Office365, Windows Server, Strong Active Directory skills.
  • Experience with SCCM (for Patching and device builds)
  • Experience with Cisco switches (configuring ports/switching ports to different vlans), firewall (ASA) and VPN technologies.
  • Exposure to PowerShell is desirable
  • Experience with backup technology e.g. VEEAM, Vranger
  • Experience of working in large and complex IT enterprise.
  • Experience of working with multi datacentres and managed service partners.
  • Significant experience in hands-on IT roles dealing with a varied internal client base.
  • Knowledge and experience of service delivery management
  • ITIL Foundation qualified, preferred.
