Job Description

Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer Tasks

  • Support the development of technical architectures, and migration plans/support the development of presentations and business cases which resonate with client stakeholders and deliver value
  • Support the delivery of new infrastructure solutions on Micorosft Azure
  • Support operation and maintenance of clients Azure estates
  • Troubleshoot reported incidents and identify solutions and possible side effects
  • Maintain records, inform clients bout the process and advise of actions taken

Qualifications
  • A minimum Bachelors degree is required in Computer Science, IT, or in a Technology-related field
  • An understanding of Microsoft Technologies e.g. Active Directory, Exchange, DNS
  • An understanding of Azure technologies e.g. VMs, RBAC, Vnets
  • An understanding of basic networking e.g. IP addresses, switches, routers, load-balancers
  • An understanding of basic security concepts: Firewalls & IAM
