Job Description

Infrastructure & Cloud Architect Tasks

  • Lead or support the development of technical architectures, implementation strategies, migration plans and roadmaps
  • Provide expert advice and assist in the resolution of project implementation issues or major incidents as well as guide and oversee delivery of new solutions
  • Assess emerging technologies, stay abreast of industry trends and assess new products, make recommendations to improve our current offerings or develop new ones, define technical strategies and facilitate the piloting of new ideas
  • Set and manage project stakeholders expectations, recommend solutions and strategies, effectively mediate between Clusters project team and the clients IT team or other stakeholders
  • Maintaining commercial awareness and identifying additional opportunities within clients, leveraging wider Cluster and Azure offerings is a key part of every client engagement

Qualifications
  • A minimum Bachelors degree is required in Computer Science, IT, or in a Technology-related field
  • Experience working as a consultant or as a technical architect (or similar role) for an enterprise-level organisation with a complex, large-scale IT estate
  • Experience planning and delivering migration projects (e.g. Active Directory migration, Azure migration, M365 migration)
  • Experience of shaping and delivering infrastructure/cloud solutions
  • Experience producing architectural documentation e.g. strategies, roadmaps, HLD, LLD, Options papers
