Job Description

Our client, a pensions a company who provides tailored IT solutions to end clients, are currently looking for a technically-minded Business Development Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.The Business Development Manager will be tasked with generated new business via cold calling and other avenues whilst mentoring a Business Development Representative.Key responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:

  • Manage, nurture, and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities
  • Identify strong potential prospects using initiative and creativity, to generate outbound lead opportunities
  • Assess and analyse a prospects current process and requirements
  • Provide engaging and articulate information about our clients value proposition to potential clients via a variety of digital and in-person methods
  • Maintain well-organised, up-to-date, and accurate sales information and activity reports in the CRM system
Knowledge and skills for the Business Development Manager:
  • 1-2 years proven experience in prospecting and lead generation and experience in business services, preferably payroll services but linked industries will be considered
  • Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement and ability to successfully manage your own quota
  • Experience of working collaboratively in a combined sales & marketing team
  • Successful history of net new business sales and managing complex larger deals
  • A background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing of new business
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
