Job Description

Information Security Consultant - RemoteOur client is a provider of Cyber Security Consulting & ITservices and is growing its team to meet client demand. They have a vacancy in their Information Security team for an information security consultant to help them with increasing market growth and customer demand.Role

  • Provideremote InfoSec consultancy services to clients, including auditing and implementation across various standards and best practices
  • Adviseclient on compliance questions and general InfoSec good practice
  • Assistin the provision of InfoSec remediation services to clients
  • Providesecurity awareness training to clients
  • Assistwith the maintenance and improvement of the organisationsISO27001:2013 ISMS and ISO9001:2015 QMS, and other InfoSec systems
  • Assistwith the organisationscompliance in line with the GDPR
  • Useknowledge and experience to assist in growing and improving the organisationsInfoSec offering to clients
  • Useknowledge and skills to assist with maintaining and improving the organisationsgeneral internal InfoSec security
    • Responsibilities
  • Remotely deliverservices in a manner that inspires confidence and authority in the subject matter
  • Assist internal departments with InfoSec queries and deployments
  • Assist in daily operation and maintenance of the organisationsISO27001:2013 ISMS and ISO9001:2015 QMS
  • Stay up to date with current and emerging compliance and InfoSec standards
  • Assist in the development of the organisationssecurity strategy, internally and for clients
    • Experience and qualifications
  • Experience in the following is required:
  • ISO27001:2013 ISMS
  • Interpreting and applying appropriate standards
  • 3+ years in general Information Security roles
  • 2+ years in a consulting or client facing role
  • Experience in the following is desirable
  • ISO9001 / ISO14001
  • PCI-DSS
  • GDPR
  • DP
  • Cyber Essentials
  • NSCS 10 Steps to Cyber Security
  • Technical or legal background
  • Required Qualifications
  • ISO27001:2013 Lead Auditor/Implementer
  • CISA / CISM / CISSP
  • Other ISO / InfoSec and technical security qualifications a bonus
  • Legal background or qualification desirable
    • This is a remote based position, and the successful candidate will be required to interact with clients and provide services remotely.
