Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Intern within our Information Reporting and Delivery team, youll be joining the broader Global Operations & Investors Services (GOIS) team who focus on supporting our clients and the front-end business areas to ensure that the business is administeredin a robust, controlled, timely, and efficient manner. As such, the department interacts with most other departments across the business to deliver excellent client experience. You will have the chance to work closely with our reporting teams and their upstream data providers, handling large datasets and gaining experience with Excel and PowerBI. As part of understanding the full data workflow you will work closely with our data providersto understand the operations and how the Information Reporting team fit into the organisation. Throughout the 8 weeks, you can expect to:

  • Support the review of data used in reports.
  • Work with different data providers to understand processes.
  • Assist a review of how data is being used in our reporting platform.
Responsibilities vary depending on assigned projects(s). All Interns will be included in:
  • Meaningful projects and tasks giving you the chance to add value from day one.
  • Organisation-wide insight sessions to provide you with a holistic view of the industry.
  • A range of training & development sessions, giving you the tools to kickstart your career.
  • Attending internal and external meetings and social events, providing you the chance to network.
Requirements
  • Be an undergraduate student in your penultimate or final year.
  • Be an enthusiastic self-starter with an interest in Financial Markets, who displays curiosity and is eager to learn more about our industry and our business.
  • Knowledge of coding would be advantageous or those who are analytical and have technology interest. (Coding training will be provided)
  • Be able to demonstrate that you are a strong communicator who can share ideas with colleagues.
  • Be results orientated with the ability to overcome setbacks and remain focused on achieving the end goal.
  • You should enjoy problem solving and be able to gather, monitor and analyse data.
  • Be available to join on 24th June for an 8-week period.
  • Have right to work in the UK - we are unable to provide sponsorship for our internship programmes.
