Our core values of innovation, teamwork, caring, respect, enthusiasm and opennessprovide a real foundation for learning and supporting staff.This post is situated in our Domestic Abuse Hub (DAH) and is part of a dynamic team of Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVAs).We have a committed and knowledgeable team of professionals whostrive to deliver the very best service to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse. The Domestic Abuse Hub offer a whole family approach where appropriate, and ensures support is available by the right person at the right time, with a focus onrisk management, safety and what matters to the family/ individual.We are advertising for a temporary IDVA (Equilibrium Lead) within the Domestic Abuse Hub for 12 months.It is an exciting time to join the service with the Equilibrium Programme having recentlybeen awarded RESPECT accreditation, making Swansea the only Local Authority in Wales to have developed their own domestic violence perpetrator programme. Equilibrium is an intervention that with perpetrators of domestic abuse to challenge behaviour and preventabuse.We are looking for candidates who recognise and understand the dynamics of domestic abuse, and the importance of the victims voice in safety planning and risk management.Swansea is a great place to live and work.
