The team is responsible for the implementation of our Compendia application to new clientsboth software and TPA, whilst also maintaining the model processes provided as part of the Compendia application, including legislative changes, ongoing maintenance and new developments.It is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team that is not only responsible for the core configuration of the system, but also working closely with the ongoing development of Compendia, this includes contributing to development plans, reviewing enhancementrequests, Compendia rollouts and producing prototypes for new functionality.This is a great role for you if you already have experience in implementing pensions software or you are a pensions administrator with a good understanding of UK pensions looking for that next step in your career.Department InformationPensions IT is responsible for end to end delivery of all EQIT services into EQ Paymaster and our software clients. Essentially this breaks down into two main areas, namely, Platform Development and Professional Services. This is reflected in the structurewith most functions being accountable for both platform development and delivery services. The majority of platforms are used by EQ Paymaster internally and some platforms are in use by external software clients who we also support.We have a continual programme of development of both the main products and the subsidiary products across both the workplace/occupational and L&P market sectors. The current focus is on the next iteration of the Compendia product, Compendia Touch, whichis built on a refreshed technology stack. Our roadmap looking forwards includes further Compendia developments to support the business operate efficiently and expand its market offering.Core Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working across all aspects of the Compendia Touch application.
  • Liaising with clients (both internal and external) to understand their requirements for the Compendia Touch application.
  • Analysing, documenting and estimating client requirements.
  • Configuring and testing the Compendia Touch application.
  • Enhancing and developing the Touch Model.
  • Improving the implementation practices and procedures.
  • Working closely with the development team to refine and improve the system.
Qualifications & Experience Educated to degree standard preferred but not essential:
  • Experience of using Pension Configuration Tools and MS SQL.
  • Relevant qualifications in the Pensions & Actuarial Industry desirable (e.g. Pensions Management Institute Certification).
  • Demonstrable software development capability.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness & operational efficiencies / income generation in current role.
