IBOR Transition Sales Support Analyst

Job Description

My leading global investment banking client are looking to bring on an Sales Support Analyst to support their IBOR Transition programme.Candidates must have:

  • Relevant Fixed Income product knowledge including Interest Rate Swaps, Vanilla Options, Cross Currency Swaps, FRNs, Structured Notes and Swaptions
  • Knowledge of Equity products such as derivatives and Prime helpful although not essential
  • Knowledge of how clients are grouped from a sales angle (i.e. Institutional versus Corporate) and the challenges they each provide
  • Understand the MiFID classification in particular those of professional status; Eligible Counterparty and Market Participants
  • Experience working in a Front Office Trading/Sales Support environment
  • Experience of supporting teams Globally from out of region
  • Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint as a minimum
  • Willingness to undertake the training/study required in this role
  • Relevant knowledge of loan transactions
  • Experience of project management is desirable
  • A desire to find ways to continually improve processes and service delivered
  • Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude
  • The ability to work autonomously and track 3rd party/Line of business "Hand offs"
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
  • An understanding of risk management and ability to ensure own/others compliance with relevant regulatory processes
