Description Key responsibilities: Formulate,identify, and define strategic initiatives to lead significant pursuits in Automation, Electrical, Telecommunications, and Digital domains within ABBs Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN) UK & IE business, focusing on Energy Transition Market Sub-Segments.Dive into the specifics of projects within your area of responsibility, comprehending the project portfolio to inform strategy development, identify opportunities, and prioritise effectively using the Opportunity Screening process. Foster collaboration withthe wider Process Automation Energy Industries team, including the PAEN Norway team, as needed, to collectively pursue individual opportunities. Take ownership of forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual Orders and Orders GM within the Market Sub-Segments.Collaborate closely with other Sales Leads handling Energy Transition Market Sub-Segments within the Industrial Clusters as required. Establish PAEN as a prominent player in the external marketplace for the Market Sub-Segments under your purview, includingrepresenting the organisation at external events and delivering presentations. Uphold the highest ethical standards by consistently adhering to ABBs code of conduct, demonstrating unwavering integrity, and prioritising health and safety at all times. Takea proactive approach in engaging and utilising ABBs CRM tool (Salesforce) regularly to streamline operations and facilitate efficient communication. Profile Your Background: Bachelors degree in a relevant technical discipline preferred. Preferred prior experiencein selling solutions within the domains of Automation, Electrical, Telecommunications, and Digital. Knowledge of the UK Energy Transition market sub-segments is advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a collaborative mindset.Proficiency in IT skills, especially MS Office. Possession of a valid drivers license. Comfortable with occasional travel and spending nights away from home. Competence in using CRM systems like Salesforce. Demonstrates consultative selling expertise, witheffective questioning and active listening abilities. Exhibits curiosity, energy, and resilience in approaching challenges. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, consistently striving to meet targets. Excellent time management skills, adept at prioritising tasksand meeting deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills, exuding confidence and able to build trust with clients. Aware of the commercial implications of technical decisions and knowledgeable about contractual aspects of industrial projects. Proven experience inengaging with individuals of varying authority levels within client organisations.
